Need Help?
There is no charge for help if it's a quick fix. I will be happy to help you out! I am a sole proprietor, and some problems may require more time to fix and may be better suited for an individual session appointment.
Private session appointments are $20 for a one hour and you can use the time to expand your skills or get help with projects or patterns.
Classes
Payment for a class is due upon registration. Classes can be purchased online or in-store.
Learn to Knit class supplies are included in the class price. All other classes, unless otherwise noted, do not include class materials. I do appreciate your business and give participants a 10% discount on all in-stock supplies required for classes.
To avoid disappointment with your finished product, I ask that you purchase all your class materials at Thimbleberry and wind your yarn prior to class. A yarn winder and swift are available for student use. (Please note that this policy is a change from my current policy and offerings – this will be how I will move forward starting in May)
Please bring basic notions with you to class, including scissors, round and locking stitch markers, a small crochet hook, and a darning needle.
Basic knitting skills are required for all but the Learn to Knit class. You must know how to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off. If you’d like help mastering the fundamentals before taking a class, please take my Learn to Knit instruction.
Fees are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by Thimbleberry. Class withdrawals will be accepted with 2 weeks’ advance notice and store credit will be issued for the class fee.
If less than 2 weeks’ notice is given, store credit will be given only if we can fill your space in the class with another student.
I will do my best to accommodate you if there is an unforeseen circumstance that causes you to miss your class. I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes if minimum enrollment is not met and then the class fee can be refunded or used as credit. Any class canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled.
Exchanges
Exchanges for yarn will be accepted if the yarn is in its original condition and not wound. You are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to us, and I will cover the shipping cost of sending a new item back.
Returns
Returns of tagged, unwound yarn in original condition will be accepted within 45 days of date of original purchase.
Once received and processed, a refund for the purchase price of the cost of goods will be issued. I cannot refund shipping costs or cover the cost of shipping returns back to us.
All needles, accessories, patterns, books, and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned.
Shipping
Thimbleberry ships within the United States. All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) at the following flat rates and services:
for orders up to $94.99: Priority Mail - $7.95
for orders of $95.00 or more: Priority Mail - FREE!
Orders are shipped within 5 days of being received. If an item is out of stock or if there is a question about your order, we will contact you via email and/or telephone.
All orders are sent uninsured; Thimbleberry is not responsible for packages that do not arrive. Please call or email me for the cost to insure your order.
Products: on-line offerings
I stock a wide variety of yarn weights and fibers, as well as needles, hooks, notions, supplies, and patterns for knitters and crocheters.
Special orders are Thimbleberry’s specialty. We will be happy to bring in any product you may require from any of our suppliers, but please note that some minimum order quantities may apply, and shipping charges are additional.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards are available in any amount, and they never expire.
Ravelry Patterns
Thimbleberry offers Ravelry patterns for purchase. Upon purchase I will email and print your patterns for you!
